چکیده

We analytically calculate the contribution to local density of states due thermal sources in a disk-like patch within framework fluctuational electrodynamics. further introduce wavevector cutoff method approximate this contribution. compare results obtained with source and numerical exact LDOS above metal disk attained by SCUFF-EM calculations. By comparison we highlight difference resemblance geometrical boundary conditions which are both relevant for near-field scanning microscope measurements. Finally, give an outlook general lateral temperature profiles it surface profiles.
